Incoming freshman who are nursing students may choose to live in the Nursing Living Learning Community. This community is all about caring for the “whole” student – mind, body and spirit – by offering social, service-oriented and professional development activities. Students will make new friends and reduce stress during Yoga, Pilates and Meditation classes as well as participate in seminars on wellness topics, such as how to eat healthy at college.
Requirements
- All first-year nursing students – pre nursing and direct entry, are eligible to participate in the Nursing LLC.
- Participation in the Nursing LLC is for a full academic year.
- Students will live in a designated residence hall along with a roommate who is also part of the Nursing LLC.
- Those students who are unable to live on campus can still participate in the Nursing LLC.
How to Apply
First-year nursing students should indicate interest in the Nursing LLC as part of the housing application process.
